The two were key pieces to the puzzle in Mapua's title run in NCAA Season 100, with Epondulan also contributing as assistant to head coach Randy Alcantara.
Now, all of them will be reunited in Kalentong, as JRU hopes to get back on track following last year's 4-14 campaign.
Salamat, Mapua
Both Hubilla and Mangubat shared emotional farewells to Mapua on Instagram on Wednesday.
"Salamat, Mapúa. Hanggang sa pagtanda, dala ko na 'to," do-it-all forward Hubilla wrote on his Instagram story.
Standout rookie Mangubat added on his own post, "Salamat, Mapúa, sa one year. Always grateful and thankful."

While the two are yet to officially announce their transfers, several sources monitoring the situation said they are already on their way to JRU. They will undergo one-year residency before being eligible to play in Season 102.
The last time the Heavy Bombers advanced to the Final Four was back in 2017, when Vergel Meneses was still calling the shots.
