LETRAN reeled in one of the biggest fishes in the 2025-Smart NBTC National Finals presented by SM Supermalls, with 6-foot guard Chad Gammad from Top Flight Hoops-Canada heading to Intramuros.
“Committed to play for Letran Knights, eligible to play in [NCAA] Season 101,” Knights head coach Allen Ricardo told SPIN.ph.

The two-time juniors champion coach bared he has long been eyeing the Filipino-Canadian, who was named into the Division 2 Mythical Team after averaging 31.2 points, including 44.2-percent from threes, on top of 5.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
“Kailangan namin ‘yung position na ‘yun eh,” Ricardo explained.

Gammad's entry coincides with the long-awaited seniors debut of former Squires Titing Manalili. The two will fortify a lineup fronted by Jimboy Estrada and Kevin Santos.
Since the last title in their three-peat in Season 98, the Knights have fallen short of the Final Four.
