THE Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals took down the San Sebastian College- Recoletos Stags, 80-77, to start their second half of the season on a winning note in the NCAA Season 99 men’s basketball tournament at FilOil EcoOil Centre on Tuesday.

Back-to-back threes from Ralph Robin gave the Generals the lead in the last 1:04 minutes of gameplay, 76-72, but Alex Desoyo countered with a three-point shot to keep EAC at bay, 78-75.
A free throw by Robin nailed the win for Emilio Aguinaldo College, their sixth win in ten games, after being down by 22 points in the first half. The Stags are now 3-7.
EAC was down by 16 at halftime, 50-34, but went on a 20-13 run to trim their deficit at the end of the third quarter by nine, 63-54.
JP Maguliano led the Emilio Aguinaldo College with a double-double record 22 points, 11 rebounds, and one assist, while Nat Cosejo scored 16 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
Desoyo finished with 24 points and four rebounds, while Tristan Felebrico scored a double-double 12 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists.
