EMILIO Aguinaldo College notched its second straight win in the NCAA Season 94 in another close shave as it escaped Mapua, 89-85, on Friday at the Filoil Flying V Arena.

It was a nip-and-tuck affair which spiced up with a late altercation between CJ Cadua and Laurenz Victoria with 13 seconds to spare in the game and the Generals up by one 84-83.

An unsportsmanlike was given to Cadua while Laurenz Victoria was assesed with a technical foul as they game went down to foul shots in the end.

But Deniel Aguirre missed what could have been the go-ahead free throws while Jerome Garcia and Sean Neri drained the next five foul shots in between them to put away the game for good.

"Well actually, the free throw disaster that happened to us in our opening game, we worked on that. Kami kasi we prepared hard for them," said EAC head coach Ariel Sison.
