ST. BENILDE assistant coach Charles Tiu lambasted the NCAA referees after an apparent no call resulted in a concussion on one of its players on Tuesday.
Blazers guard Prince Carlos suffered a concussion after being on the receiving end of an elbow from San Sebastian's Allyn Bulanadi in the Golden Stags' slim 66-65 victory.
"Our CSB player Prince Carlos hospitalized and confined overnight due to a concussion. Vomited more than twice already. Got elbowed in the head and there was no foul call. Good job refs," Tiu wrote.
He also posted a video of the incident which saw Bulanadi, who was jostling for a rebounding position, nailed Carlos with an errant elbow early in the fourth quarter.
"I’m more upset at the refs than the player cause they’re paid to do their job. But clearly have been doing it poorly. Sad state of the NCAA," he continued.
Carlos had to go through a series of CT scans and neuro tests early on Wednesday morning after vomiting several times the night before.
