LYCEUM hardly broke a sweat in claiming its fifth straight win in the NCAA Season 93 after demolishing College of St. Benilde, 98-55, Tuesday at the Filoil Flying V Center.

The Pirates used a 39-12 from midway through the first quarter to the end of the half to take a 47-21 lead.

JC Marcelino starred in that rally as he played big on both ends, with the Pirates forcing turnover after turnover while making almost every shot they took.

The Pirates made eight three pointers and forced 20 turnovers in the first half. They padded their lead to as many as 46 points, 91-45, following a CJ Perez lay-up with three minutes left in the game.

"We remember the time that they beat us last year for their only win. That turned out to be the motivation for us," said Lyceum head coach Topex Robinson.

"We just wanted to honor the game and try to play as hard as we can no matter who it is we're playing," he added.
