JOSE Rizal University's dreams of winning the NCAA Season 102 crown just took a big blow.
Spin.ph sources bared that Chris Hubilla is questionable to return for the remainder of the season after suffering a partial MCL tear on his left knee.
The Bulan, Sorsogon native got hurt while posting up in the first quarter of JRU's game against San Beda last Friday, with his knee colliding with RC Calimag upon his spin. He immediately writhed in pain and exited the game with 1:17 left in the first period.

He did not return as the Heavy Bombers staged a spirited rally only to fall short to the Red Lions, 75-71.
It turned out to be a Grade 2 knee strain, which would require at least four to eight weeks of recovery.
Hubilla has been one of the driving forces for JRU with the 6-foot-3 forward bringing his championship experience from Mapua to average 12.44 points, 7.89 rebounds, and 1.78 assists this year.
But his absence only compounds the woes for the Kalentong crew which are already missing lead guard Lawrence Mangubat to a shoulder injury.
With Hubilla gone, the load will now fall on the shoulders of Allan Laurenaria, Jahmir Eligado, Lance Masiglat, and Ivan Panapanaan to man the frontcourt for the Heavy Bombers in this tough second round.
JRU, holding a 7-3 win-loss record, is set to face Lyceum of the Philippines U this Tuesday before finishing the eliminations with games against Mapua on Nov. 3 and Benilde on Nov. 6.
