ONE player from San Sebastian and another from Letran are facing suspensions as they stand accused of suiting up in 'ligang labas' games in violation of the NCAA basketball tournament's rules.
Sources bared Stags guard RK Ilagan and Knights rookie Koy Galvelo are under investigation over allegations they played in the Bobby Taboho Cup in Tandang Sora in Quezon City last June 30, a day after the NCAA management committee held its eligibility meeting.
The NCAA Mancom will hold a special meeting to discuss the matter on Tuesday.
According to sources, Ilagan has already been suspended by the team pending an investigation. He averaged 13.8 points, 3.6 assists, and 2.8 rebounds in five Stags games which could all be forfeited if found to have violated league rules.
