ANOTHER Nitura is set to rise in Intramuros.
Lance Nitura, a 6-foot-2 guard from Cainta, Rizal, has committed to Mapua in time for the NCAA Season 102 seniors basketball wars.

The 20-year-old reunites with older brother Cyrus in the Cardinals' nest, as he aims to make the same noise in the sporting world just like his sisters in UAAP Season 88 MVP Shaina and NCAA Season 101 Finals MVP Judiel.
Nitura was part of the Perpetual side which won it all in NCAA Season 100 juniors and continued to be a key contributor this past Season 101, averaging 9.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.8 steals for the Jr. Altas.
He also suited up for Bayanihan Elite UK in the 2026 Smart-NBTC National Finals where he averaged 24.0 points, 9.5 boards, 3.5 steals, and 3.0 assists to be named part of the Manila Showcase.
Mapua build-up
Nitura is the latest among Mapua's greenhorns after Froilan Reyes, MJ Bernabe, and Mico Pascual.

Lloren, a 6-foot-2 slasher, suited up for Tiana ENT in the 2025 NBTC Wildcard Tournament where he had 15.6 points, 5.8 boards, and 2.6 assists. He has also played for Pasig Apassi Timothies in the Junior MPBL.
