ALLYN Bulanadi’s 44-point performance that pushed San Sebastian to the semifinals earned the graduating forward a second NCAA Player of the Week citation.
The Stags booked the last ticket to the semifinals with a thrilling 99-94 win over Perpetual Help, joining San Beda, Lyceum and Letran.
Bulanadi was picked over Calvin Oftana, Arellano’s Kent Salado, and CSB's Yankie Haruna for the recognition from writers from print and online covering the League.
“Ginawa ko lang yung best ko. Sabi ko, 'Para 'to sa Baste, sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Baste,” said the 6-foot-2 Bulanadi, earning his second Chooks-to-Go Collegiate Press Corps NCAA Player of the Week award to tie San Beda's Calvin Oftana as the only players to be voted for the award twice.
San Sebastian returns to the semifinals a year after finishing sixth.
Bulanadi shot 14 for 26, including 7-of-12 from beyond the arc, and made all of his nine attempts from the free throw line.
The performance came after the lefty had 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists to carry San Sebastian to a 85-82 triumph over Arellano.
