SAN Sebastian is on a five-game win streak, with Allyn Bulanadi showing the way to keep the Stags within striking distance of the NCAA leaders.
For his solid performances, including a 32-point game last week, Bulanadi has been voted Chooks-to-Go Collegiate Press Corps NCAA Player of the Week.
Bulanadi was picked over Noah Lugo of Mapua, Donald Tankoua of San Beda and Reymar Caduyac of Lyceum for the weekly recognition by print and online scribes covering the country’s oldest collegiate league.

Bulanadi posted his career high score as the Golden Stags routed the St. Benilde Blazers, 83-67, in the Season 95 men’s basketball tournament on Thursday, their fifth straight win for a 7-3 record behind San Beda at 11-0 and Lyceum at 8-3.
Shooting 11-of-21 from the field highlighted by five triples, the 6-foot-2 forward passed his previous high of 31 points in San Sebastian’s 107-90 victory over Perpetual just three weeks ago.
“Sa akin lang, nagpapasalamat ako kay coach Egay [Macaraya] at sa coaching staff dahil sa suporta nila ‘di lang sa akin kundi sa’ming lahat,” said Bulanadi.

“Kailangan ko lang gampanan yung role ko. Yung trust na binigay nila sa kin, kailangan ko lang suklian para rin sa kanila at para sa Baste,” he added.
Bulanadi is eager to lead the Stags to the NCAA championship before closing his collegiate career.
“Yung individual award, laging pangalawa lang yan. Yung goal talaga para sa amin is yung championship,” said Bulanadi.
