IS WILLIE Miller in line to return to his alma mater as the head coach of the Letran juniors basketball team?
A source said former PBA MVP Miller is being groomed to take over the Squires, a team that recently won back-to-back crowns under Allen Ricardo in the NCAA Season 99 last Saturday

There may be a need to fill the spot of Ricardo, the architect of the Squires’ two straight titles, who was appointed as the interim head coach of the Letran seniors basketball team last February.
Even with the appointment, Ricardo stayed in the juniors squad until the end of Season 99 where the Squires defeated Perpetual Help in the final.

Miller is currently an assistant coach in the PBA with Converge, a team that is being managed by Strong Group Athletics, which is also the major backer of the Letran juniors team.
Miller has also been coaching young players in his hometown of Olongapo.
Before winning two PBA MVPs, Miller played for Letran and won the NCAA Rookie of the Year in 1995. He was the No. 1 draft pick of Red Bull in 2001.
