SAN Beda dominated Lyceum, 111-82, to end the eliminations in the NCAA Season 95 juniors basketball tournament on a high on Thursday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Tony Ynot produced 18 points to lead five players with double-digit scores for the Red Cubs, while also hauling down five rebounds.
Justine Sanchez had 16 points and six boards, while Rhayyan Amsali added 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Yukien Andrada had a double-double with 14 points and 14 boards in the Red Lions’ 12th straight victory that improved their record to 17-1.
Meanwhile, the Junior Pirates failed to secure the second-seed as they fell to 11-7, the school’s best mark in the league.
John Barba paced Lyceum with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Mac Guadana had 19 points, six boards, four assists and two steals.
The Junior Pirates are in danger of seeing themselves tied in the last three semis spots with CSB-La Salle Greenhills, San Sebastian and Arellano all still in the running with their identical 10-7 cards.
Letran whipped EAC-Immaculate Concepcion Academy, 92-74, in a battle of also-rans
Joshua Ramirez led the Squires with 18 points, eight rebounds and three assists, as CJ Saure had 14 points and three boards to hike their record to 8-10.
Adrian Balowa led the Brigadiers (2-15) with 31 points and nine rebounds as they ended the season in the cellar.
