SAN Beda's successful high school program just got more stronger.
Coach Manu Inigo shored up his staff by welcoming decorated mentors Joe Silva and Anton Brodett to the Red Cubs lair.
"Kahit nag-champion kami, lahat ng tulong na puwede na makuha ng mga bata, open kami sa ganoon," he said.
San Beda is coming off of its 23rd title in the juniors division this past NCAA Season 95, and the arrival of the two bench technicians signals a brighter future for the team.
Silva is a two-time UAAP juniors champion coach with Ateneo, the last of which was the Kai Sotto-bannered Blue Eaglets side in Season 80.
He spent a year at the helm in University of the East, handling Alvin Pasaol in his final year in Recto where the Red Warriors finished with a woeful 1-13 record.
Meanwhile, Brodett has been part of numerous championship teams in the past.
Mainly working as a lead recruiter, he was a part of coach Eric Altamirano's staff in National UIniversity when it won the UAAP title in 2014.
He once again was an integral part of coach Marvin Bienvenida's crew when La Salle Greenhills captured its first NCAA juniors crown in 2017.
He joined Silva in UE and was briefly named as the head coach of the Junior Warriors, before moving to Perpetual.
They, however, will have a lot of work to do as the Red Cubs, despite winning the NCAA championship last year, are looking to stay at the top after the graduation of top stars led by Rhayyan Amsali, Justine Sanchez, Yukien Andrada, and Tony Ynot.
All four have moved on to the seniors team, where they will be handled by Red Lions coach Boyet Fernandez.
