A REDEMPTION seeking Perpetual side took its second-straight win in the NCAA Season 100 Juniors Basketball tournament after outlasting La Salle-Greenhills, 92-88 on Wednesday in the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

The Junior Altas nearly lost a 16-point lead after posting a 79-63 lead early in the fourth, but hung tough in the end to stay unbeaten after two games in the tournament,

Jericho Cristino led the way for Perpetual with 21 points and nine rebounds while Jan Roluna added 16 points, seven rebounds and five steals.

LeBron Jhames Daep, last year’s mythical team member, added a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds.

LSGH, led by Guillian Quines with 22 points and seven rebounds, slid to 1-1 in the standings.

San Beda also stayed unbeaten in the tournament after locking down defensively in the secon half to beat San Sebastian, 69-64.

Andrei Ugaddan and MJ Vailoces ruled over the glass in this game as they both notched double-doubles, with Ugaddan scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 boards while Valioces coralled 13 rebounds to go along with his 11 points.
