IDLE Lyceum was the biggest beneficiary of the final gameday of the NCAA Season 95 juniors basketball tournament as San Sebastian, CSB-La Salle Greenhills, and Arellano all suffered sorry losses Friday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

At 11-7, the Junior Pirates will make their first-ever postseason appearance as the No. 2 seed and will also enjoy a twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four despite not even playing for the day.

The Golden Stags also clinched the no. 3 seed by virtue of having the superior quotient over the Greenies and the Braves despite all three teams sporting identical 10-8 cards.

That was even after San Sebastian fell to Perpetual, 81-76.

Yuki Kawamura fired 21 points built on four treys to lead the Junior Altas, while Kyle Cuevas racked 12 points and 10 rebounds as they finished their campaign at 7-11.

The Golden Stags, meanwhile, banked on Milo Janao, who poured 20 points, five rebounds, and five assists in the loss.
