    JRU Light Bombers rip EAC Brigadiers to complete Final Four cast

    JOSE Rizal High School completed the Final Four picture in the NCAA Season 94 juniors basketball tournament with an 85-65 rout of EAC-Immaculate Concepcion Academy Friday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

    At 11-6, the Light Bombers clinched their first post-season appearance since finishing fourth in 2014.

    Marwin Dionisio led the way for JRU with 22 points and 18 rebounds as top gun John Amores compiled 12 points, six assists, and three steals.

    Ronald Bucoy also took advantage of his opportunities to rack a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds.

    Cjay Boado topped the Brigadiers (3-15) with a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

    Mapua also stayed on pace for a twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four with a 69-61 clipping of San Sebastian.

    Dan Arches carried the Red Robins with 17 points, five assists, three steals, and two rebounds as he continued to carry the torch without the injured Clint Escamis.

    Jonnel Policarpio corralled 13 points and 13 boards as Roseler Sarias got 12.
    Mapua (13-4) needs to win its final game against Arellano or for San Beda to fall to Lyceum in their last assignments to clinch the two-seed.

    Rafael Are paced the Staglets (5-12) with 11 points, eight rebounds, and two assists, as Milo Janao got nine points, four boards, and two dimes in the defeat.

    Perpetual also won in the battle of also-rans with a 74-69 conquest of Letran.

    Ezdel Galoy uncorked 21 points and 10 rebounds as the Junior Altas stayed at sixth place with their 8-9 record.

    Shawn Argente topped the Squires (4-13) with 12 points and three assists.
