MARVIN Bienvenida has stepped down as the head coach for La Salle Green Hills Greenies.
The youthful mentor has decided to put his full focus on his role as the athletic director for the school, he bared on Thursday.
"I already gave my letter to Bro. Vic (Franco). I've been wearing three hats for La Salle Greenhills. I would like to give more time to the other sports who want to improve and be successful especially in the NCAA," he said.
Under Bienvenida, LSGH won its first NCAA title back in Season 93 behind Joel Cagulangan, Inand Fornilos, and Joshua David.
He has compiled a 48-19 win-loss record in his three years at the helm, finishing none worse than third place.
Bienvenida coached his final game for the Greenies in the 2019 Chooks-to-Go NBTC League National Finals, leading the team to a runner-up finish.
Despite his resignation, Bienvenida will remain as a consultant for the Greenies.
LSGH is still in the process of looking for his successor.
