LYCEUM got its act together in the extra period and scored a big 99-93 overtime victory over San Sebastian on Tuesday in the NCAA juniors basketball tournament at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Alfred Dejelo scored seven of his 10 points in the extra session, while finishing with seven rebounds as the Junior Pirates scored their fourth win in 10 games.
John Barba led Lyceum with 28 points, nine rebounds, four assists and a steal, while Mac Guadana also did damage with 24 points, three boards and four dimes.
The win allowed the Junior Pirates to tie the Staglets at seventh place.
Dave Balo scattered 22 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks for San Sebastian, which battled back from 18 points down with a superb 28-point fourth quarter explosion.
Kean Baclaan chipped in 19 points, seven boards and five assists, as Milo Janao had 17 points, 11 rebounds and three dimes.
