JOEL Cagulangan triggered the strong start before Sydney Mosqueda finished off the 73-62 victory for CSB-La Salle Greenhills as it nipped San Beda High School Tuesday in the NCAA Season 94 juniors basketball tournament at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Cagulangan unfurled 10 of his 14 points in the first half, on top of seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals to make up for his eight turnovers as the Greenies took a 45-30 halftime lead.

“Maganda yung start namin. I urged the boys to really start strong. We really tend to start weak so this time we need to shape up,” said coach Marvin Bienvenida.

Mosqueda then picked up the slack in the fourth quarter as he came off the bench and poured seven of his 15 points in the payoff period, while also nabbing four boards, and two dimes.

CSB-LSGH improved to 2-1, while also keeping San Beda winless at 0-2.
