CSB-La Salle Greenhills punched the last ticket to the NCAA Season 95 juniors basketball Final Four with a 66-52 win over Arellano on Tuesday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Jan Manansala led the Greenies with 13 points, eight rebounds and two blocks as their defense did the trick to down the Braves.
LSGH was just stingy on the defensive end, forcing Arellano to commit 21 turnovers and holding its foes to a measly 27-percent from the field.
Kobe Palencia chipped in eight points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Jiam Quiambao also scored eight to make up for the subpar showing of the injured RC Calimag, who could only muster seven.
The Greenies arranged a Final Four clash with top seed San Beda on Nov. 5, with the Red Cubs holding a twice-to-beat advantage.
LSGH is the only team that scored a victory over San Beda in the eliminations, a 99-98 overtime thriller on August 2.
Miguel Sahali captained the Braves with 13 points, five rebounds and three assists, while Chris Recto racked a double-double with his 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Mapua also ended its disappointing run this season with a 73-64 win over EAC-Immaculate Concepcion Academy to finish the year with three straight wins.
Jonnel Policarpio led the Red Robins with 22 points, 24 rebounds and four assists, while Megan Galang and Anthony Fransman combined for 21.
Mapua, last season’s champion, finished with a 6-12 standing as EAC-ICA ended at the bottom of the barrel at 2-16.
Adrian Balowa led the Brigadiers with 15 points.
