LA SALLE Greenhills stretched its giant-killing spree all the way to the NCAA Season 100 juniors basketball finals.

The Greenies stunned top seed Perpetual Help Junior Altas in Game 2 on Sunday, 95-91, to send their title series to a do-or-die match at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.

Migs Osis was the man of the hour for the Greenies, scoring the team's last five points including the go-ahead driving layup that put the No. 3 seeds on top for good, 92-91 with 20 seconds left to play.

For good measure, Osis added three more free throws to clinch the hard-earned win and sent the title series into a deciding Game 3.

The winner-take-all is set on Tuesday at the same venue in San Juan.

Gillian Quines exploded for 35 points and 11 rebounds, while Osis added 16 points for La Salle, which overcame a twice-to-beat disadvantage against two-time defending champion Letran to get a shot at the top-seeded Junior Altas.

"We've been through a lot. So we just have to keep on fighting," said Greenies coach RenRen Ritualo.

"I've been here lots of times. Back against the wall, were not backing down. We're going to prepare for Game 3. One thing for sure, the boys will fight until the end."

The win thwarted the Junior Altas' bid to sweep the title series after going 11-1 heading to the game, including a 100-96 win in Game 1 last Friday.

It also spoiled the coronation day of Lebron Jhames Daep as MVP of the tournament as the 18-year-old big man was held to just eight points on 4-of-15 shooting from the floor after going 21 points in the series opener.

The son of former PBA player Romel Daep however, had 14 rebounds and six steals.

Jan Roluna took the offensive load for Perpetual Help with 25 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and three steals, the last of which came with 28 seconds left when he anticipated a Gian Gomez pass at the backcourt and converted into a basket to give the Altas the lead for the last time, 91-90.

Roluna joined teammate Daep in the Mythical Team along with EJ Castillo (Emilio Aguinaldo College), Jhuniel Dela Rama (Letran), and Sanlea Penaverde (San Sebastian).
