PERPETUAL defeated San Sebastian, 82-67, eliminating the Staglets from the semifinal race in the NCAA Season 94 juniors basketball tournament on Thursday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Emman Galman pumped 30 points to lead the Junior Altas, Tony Ogunsanya had a season-best 20 points to go with 14 rebounds and three steals, while Ezdel Galoy got 12 points, eight boards and two assists.
Perpetual got off to a hot start, jumping on San Sebastian with a 22-10 first quarter assault and padded the lead to 23.
Kean Baclaan tried to will the Staglets back, cutting the lead down to six before Ogunsanya waxed hot to ice the Junior Altas win for good.
Perpetual rose to 6-9, while San Sebastian slipped to 5-10.
Baclaan pumped 24 points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists for the Staglets, as Milo Janao settled for two points as he missed all of his 10 shots from the field.
