JOEL Cagulangan remained the concensus No. 1 in the Chooks-to-Go NBTC NCAA 24, the weekly ranking for high school players, thanks to a playmaking and shot-making ability that make him a cut above the rest.

The College of St. Benilde graduating guard put up solid numbers throughout the season, highlighted by a 38-point masterpiece versus the Arellano Braves in the second round. And through his leadership and brilliance, the Junior Blazers finished with a league-best 16-2 record and a twice-to-beat edge heading into the Final Four.

At No. 2 is Cagulangan's teammate Joshua David, who continues to make a significant impact on both ends for his squad. This is David's second straight week at No. 2.

A pair of Mapua Red Robins fill the third and fifth rankings. Big man Jonnel Policarpio retained his No. 3 position while Dan Arches settled for five after stepping up in the absence of gunner Clint Escamis.

Solidifying his hold of fourth slot is Aaron Fermin of Arellano. The senior concluded his juniors career with a strong outing highlighted by 15 points and 21 rebounds to help his team finish with a 7-11 record.
