    Arellano Braves stretch streak to four with victory over Letran Squires

    ARELLANO and San Sebastian boosted their Final Four bids with big victories on Thursday in the NCAA Season 95 juniors basketball tournament at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

    The Braves leaned on Chris Recto's 25-point, 10-rebound performance to down Letran, 65-59.

    Arellano has won four straight and is in second spot with a 9-6 win-loss card, behind San Beda (14-1).

    Marc Cuenco added nine points and four rebounds, while John Tolentino had eight points, four boards and two assists.

    Shawn Umali had 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Squires (7-9).

    Lenard Santiago added 11 points, seven boards, three steals and two assists for Letran, while Shawn Argente had 10 points and three rebounds.

    Meanwhile, the Golden Staglets moved to joint third place with a 94-91 squeaker over Jose Rizal University.

    Nikko Aguilar led San Sebastian with 19 points, six rebounds and four assists, as Rafael Are tallied 14 points, four boards and four dimes.

    Kim Bulasa had 14 points and six rebounds as San Sebastian improved to 8-6, tying Lyceum.

    Gholam Garcia paced the Light Bombers (7-7) with 21 points and three rebounds.
