ARELLANO University clobbered Emilio Aguinaldo College, 83-65, on Tuesday in the NCAA Season 93 juniors basketball at The Arena in San Juan.
Kobe Camacho led the Braves with 16 points, while Aaron Fermin chipped in 15 points and 17 rebounds.
After a slow start, Arellano turned things around in turning a one-point deficit after the first quarter to a slim 30-26 lead at the half. Then the Braves caught fire in the third quarter to build a 14-point lead against the Brigadiers, 59-45, and never let up in the fourth behind the efforts of Camacho and Fermin.
Arellano will face Perpetual on August 15 at the same venue, while EAC-ICA takes on Lyceum Junior Pirates on August 10 in the Brigadiers homecourt.
