ARELLANO made it five straight wins in the NCAA Season 95 juniors basketball tournament, whipping defending champion Mapua, 63-56, Saturday at Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay.

The Braves were quick to shackle the Red Robins, using a 25-4 spurt to set the tone for the victory.

Adrian Rellama powered Arellano's early explosion as he poured 12 points and four rebounds, while Louie Lime added 11 points and five boards in the conquest.

Rodman Templonuevo just missed out from a double-double with his eight points and eight rebounds, as Danren Nepomuceno got six points and seven boards.

The victory allowed Arellano to tie San Beda at the top of the standings at 5-1, while also sending Mapua down at the cellar with its 1-5 card.

Anthony Fransman carried the Red Robins with his 18 points, 13 rebounds, and two steals.

Jonnel Policarpio chipped in 13 points and six boards, but fouled out at the 2:08 mark of the fourth when Mapua was making a belated fightback.
