RUSSELL Westbrook has been traded by the L.A. Clippers to the Utah Jazz, but he won't be staying in Salt Lake City for long.
The Clippers dealt the onetime MVP in exchange for Kris Dunn, 2021 NBA Draft second-rounder Balša Koprivica, a second round pick swap, and cash.

Westbrook, however, is expected to be bought out by the Jazz and then signed by the Denver Nuggets, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The now-35-year-old guard normed 11.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.1 steals for L.A. last season, mostly coming off the bench.
Shot in the arm for Denver
He now heads to a Nuggets side looking for a sparkplug from their reserves to spell lead guard Jamal Murray or steady the ship when reigning MVP Nikola Jokic sits.
Denver recently lost rotation players Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Reggie Jackson, as it retools following a second round exit from the playoffs.
The Clippers, for their part, now move forward with Kawhi Leonard and James Harden at the forefront, with both Westbrook and Paul George no longer with the team.
