THE Golden State Warriors wasted an early double-digit lead but easily recovered and eased to a 127-108 victory over the Nuggets on Saturday in Denver (Sunday, Manila time).
Kevin Durant showed the way for the Warriors, who led 36-23 in the first quarter but allowed the Nuggets to fight back and tie it at 51.
The titleholders stepped on the gas with a 43-21third quarter and never looked back, scoring their third straight win and seventh in 10 outings.
Durant Curry finished with 25 points and Steph Curry added 22.
Draymond Green and Klay Thompson chipped in with 15 points apiece
The Nuggets saw their win run end at two games and now hold an even 5-5 card.
