THE Golden State Warriors caught fire anew in the third quarter en route to an easy win over the Miami Heat, 123-95, on Sunday (Manila time) at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
After a slow start that saw them hold a slim 62-60 edge at the break, the Warriors came alive after the break and started the blowout with a 32-7 run.
Golden State never looked back and pushed the lead up some more to as high as 33 near the final buzzer.
Stephen Curry led the assault with 30 points, with five triples, for the Warriors (18-6), who won their third straight game. Kevin Durant had 24 markers, while Klay Thompson chipped in 19.
Goran Dragic had 20 points to lead the Heat (11-12). Tyler Johnson added 13 off the bench.
