THE Golden State Warriors overcame a sluggish start to send the San Antonio Spurs to their fourth straight loss, 112-92, on Thursday (Friday, Manila time) at the AT&T Center.

Draymond Green sparked an 11-2 start in the second half as the Warriors tasted their first lead, 61-57, after trailing by as much as 19 early. Then Kevin Durant took over another 11-2 spurt bridging the last two quarters to give Golden State some separation, 89-78, early in the fourth.

The Spurs only got closer by seven the rest of the way as Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, Durant and the Warriors had another 10-2 blitz to put the game out of hand.

Thompson led all scorers with 27 points, hitting five triples, while Durant and Curry scored 24 and 21, respectively. Green added 16 markers for the Warriors, who have won two straight to get their record to 6-3.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 24 points and 10 rebounds for the Spurs (4-4), and Kyle Anderson added 16 markers.
