Warriors end three-game skid with close win over Pelicans

    Nov 27, 2013

Klay Thompson led the way for the Warriors with 22 points and a career high with eight assists, and Golden State stopped a three-game skid with a 102-101 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night (Wednesday, Manila time).

Jermaine O'Neal, back from the injured list, had 18 points. David Lee scored 19 points. Stephen Curry had a bad shooting night but scored seven of his 16 points in a closely fought fourth quarter. Harrison Barnes added 14 points.

New Orleans had a chance to win the game but Eric Gordon failed to make an open 3-pointer from the left corner and the Pelicans failed to secure the rebound. Gordon scored 16 points for the Pelicans, who lost their first home game in the season and two straight.
