Wizards regain series lead over Hawks with Game Five squeaker

THE Wizards regained the lead in the Eastern Conference first round playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks with a 103-99 victory on Wednesday in Washington (Thursday, Manila time).

Bradley Beal scored 27, while John Wall had 20 points and 14 assists as the Wizards moved ahead, 3-2, in the best-of-seven series.

Otto Porter had 17 points on 3 of 4 shooting, making 9 of 10 free throws, while Bojan Bogdanovic came off the bench to deliver 14 points.

The Wizards have won the three home games but dropped two on the road.

The series returns to Atlanta for Game Six on Friday.

Dennis Schroder had 29 points and 11 assists, while Paul Millsap also had a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Tim Hardaway scored 15, Taurean Prince had 10 points, while Dwight Howard had five points and 10 rebounds.
