    Walker notches season-high 31 as Bobcats edge sloppy Nets

    THE Charlotte Bobcats managed a close one as they snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Brooklyn Nets 95-91 with the help of a pair of free-throws by Kemba Walker with 6.1 seconds left.

    With only three minutes left in the game, Nets big man Andre Blatche capitalized on Ramon Sessions’ turnovers of the Bobcats with eight points to trim the lead to 93-91. The Nets would eventually foul Walker, who finished with a season-high 31 points.

    Nets guard Deron Williams left the game after re-injuring his already hobbled left ankle in the second quarter. Williams had four points and two assists at the time of the injury.
