DONOVAN Mitchell, a top candidate for the NBA Rookie of the Year award, is arriving in Manila for the first time on June 17 for his #Spidainmanila tour for adidas.
The Utah Jazz guard will face mediamen on June 17 to "give his Filipino fans a glimpse into his life and how he uses creativity in the challenges he faces as a rookie," adidas said.
Mitchell, 21, averaged 20.5 points a game in his freshman year and led the Jazz deep into the playoffs. He is contesting the top rookie award with the Sixers' Ben Simmons.
