TYLER Ennis showed the way as the lowly Los Angeles Lakers edged the Spurs, 102-95, on Wednesday in San Antonio (Thursday, Manila time).
Ennis scored 19 points on 8 of 14 shooting, while Fil-Am guard Jordan Clarkson went 7 for and wound up with 17 points.
The Lakers scored their second straight win and 23rd in 78 games.
Los Angeles led by 26 early but the Spurs backups managed to tie the game in the fourth at 76.
The Spurs were playing the second game of a back-to-back set at home and fourth outing in six nights.
Kawhi Leonard scored 11 points in 14 minutes in the first half and was not fielded in the second, while LaMarcus Aldridge had eight points in 16 minutes of play, also all in the first two quarters.
Tony Parker scored 14 before sitting out the fourth period, while rookie David Bertans came off the bench to also score 14.
