US President Donald Trump has drawn battle lines against LeBron James.
Unresponsive to James’ negative comments about him in the past, Trump finally took a jab at the new Los Angeles Lakers star on Twitter on Saturday, Manila time.
The US President responded four days after James’ interview with CNN’s Don Lemon aired last Monday about the NBA superstar’s his foundation and the Akron Public Schools launched “I Promise”, his new elementary school for at-risk children in his hometown.
Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!

In the interview, James tackled the importance of sports and said he felt Trump was “using sports to kinda divide us.”
“Sports have never been something that divides people. It’s always been something that brings someone together,” James told Lemon.
The Star-Telegram was among those who reported the story.
James has been critical of Trump, once teaming up with fellow Nike endorsers to promote equality in a politically fueled advertisement early last year.
