Pistons stretch streak to three with victory over Knicks

THE Detroit Pistons stretched their win streak to three, downing the New York Knicks, 102-89, on Tuesday in Michigan (Wednesday, Manila time).

Tobias Harris led Detroit with 25 points on 8 of 12 shooting in 36 minutes of action.

Marcus Morris scored 22, making nine of 14 field goal attempts for Detroit.

The Pistons held the Knicks to only 10 points in the fourth quarter to extend the winning run after dropping the season-opener to the Toronto Raptors.

Carmelo Anthony scored 24 points for the Knicks, who absorbed their second loss in three games.

Derrick Rose came up with 19 points for New York, which next hosts the Houston Rockets.
