    Tobias Harris sparks early surge and Pistons cruise to victory over Knicks

    TOBIAS Harris scored 23 of his 28 points in the first half as the Detroit Pistons ripped the New York Knicks, 112-92, on Saturday in Auburn Hills, Michigan (Sunday, Manila time).

    The Pistons notched their second straight win and 33rd in 66 games.

    Andre Drummond came up with a huge double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds, while Reggie Jackson had 19 points and eight assists for Detroit.

    The Knicks absorbed their second straight loss and 40th in 66 outings even as six players scored in double figures.

    Kristaps Porzingis had 18 points, Willy Hernangomez came up with 14, while Carmelo Anthony and Courtney Lee had 13 points each.

    Derrick Rose had 11 points on 5 of 12 shooting in 27 minutes, while Chasson Randle came off the bench to score 12.
