Middleton, Antetokounmpo hit the big endgame baskets as Bucks nip Pistons

KHRIS Middleton hit the go-ahead triple and Giannis Antetokounmpo shot steady from the stripe in the dying moments in overtime to lift the Bucks to victory over the Detroit Pistons, 108-105, on Friday (Saturday, Manila time).

Middleton’s triple with 40 seconds left broke a tie at 102, while Antetokounmpo made four of four free throws in the final 11 seconds.

The Bucks scored their third straight win and 40th in 76 games.

Middleton finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Antetokounmpo also had a double-double with 28 and 14.

The Pistons, coming off a win over the Brooklyn Nets, suffered their sixth loss in the last seven games.

Tobias Harris came off the bench to lead Detroit with 23 points, while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 17.

Ish Smith had 16 points for the Pistons, who absorbed their 42nd loss in 77 games.
