Who wore the hottest sneakers in the second round of the NBA Playoffs? Take a look

NBA stars step up their shoe game in the second round of the playoffs.

THE Boston Celtics completed the cast of NBA conference finalists, following their close win (114-112) over the Philadelphia 76ers earlier Thursday.

LeBron James continued his East dominance as the Cleveland Cavaliers swept the Toronto Raptors, while in the West, the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors had little trouble against the Utah Jazz and the New Orleans Pelicans (both 4-1), respectively.

But before we bid farewell to a so-so second round, let's look at one bright spot from the schedule of games of the last two weeks: basketball shoe game.

If we learned something from the latest batch of playoff kicks, it's that plain colorways don't have to be boring.

James Harden - adidas Harden Vol. 2 'Vision'

Proof that even with a Point God for a teammate (Chris Paul), Harden is one of the NBA's best assist men, on and off the court. The Beard and co. took care of the Jazz—28 ppg 5.2 rpg 7.4 apg 2.2 spg—in five games and in the Harden Vol. 2.

LeBron James - Nike LeBron 15 'Red Griffey' and 'Diamond Turf'

For the third year in a row, The King made the Raptors extinct with a meteoric stat line: 34 ppg 8.3 rpg 11.3 apg 1.8 spg 1 bpg. LeBronto is headed to his eighth straight Eastern Conference Finals, sporting clean sillhouttes of the 15's.

Jayson Tatum - Nike Kyrie 3 'Wheaties'

Tatum (23.6 ppg 3.4 rpg 3.2 apg) conspired with Terry Rozier in disrupting The Process of the Sixers, especially with half of their roster sidelined. If you think about it, he played significantly better than Philadelphia's supposed Rookie of the Year.

Amir Johnson - Nike PG2 custom

The 12-year veteran would've been a big help against his former team...if he didn't get a couple of DNPs from Brett Brown. At least Johnson had something to show for in the sneaker department, reppin' a special #PhilaUnite pair in team colors.

Stephen Curry - Under Armour Curry 5

The two-time MVP didn't look like he missed six weeks (knee) when he returned for their last four games against New Orleans, putting up a healthy 24.5 ppg 3.8 3pg 5.3 rpg 3.5 apg 2 spg. We also got to see more of the Curry 5.

Kevin Durant - Nike KD 10 'Warrior Yellow Blue New Style'

Durant, in the KD 10, was simply golden for the Warriors (27.8 ppg 7.4 rpg 4.8 apg 1.4 spg 1.2 bpg), which proved to be too much for the overmatched Pelicans.
