TERRENCE Ross scored 18 points to lead six Magic players in double figures as Orlando staged a 115-87 rout of the slumping Detroit Pistons on Friday night (Saturday, Manila time).
The Pistons (34-39) are a game behind the Miami Heat for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference but have fallen by the wayside after losing seven of its last 10 games.
Orlando led by as much as 33 points and controlled the majority of the match.
Aaron Gordon and Nikola Vucevic scored 16 apiece for the Magic which has the second worst record in the East at 27-46.
Reserves Jon Leuer and Boban Marjanovic had 16 and 15 points, respectively, for Detroit, which only had one starter, Tobias Harris, finish in double figures with 11. The starting five had a lackluster shooting night with a combined 12 for 42 field goals.
