JAYSON Tatum caught fire early and Kyrie Irving sizzled in the third as the Boston Celtics snapped the Milwaukee Bucks three-game win run, ,to roll to their third straight victory on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time) at the TD Garden.
Tatum made four triples in the first nine minutes, while Irving scored 14 in the third to lead the Celtics romp even with the 40-point explosion from Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Bucks, however, cut a 20-point Celtics lead down to seven late in the fourth, but Irving scored back-to-back clutch baskets with a floater and a triple to put the game out of reach.
Irving finished with 32 points for the Celtics (21-4), while Al Horford and Tatum scored 20 and 17, respectively.
Khris Middleton was the Bucks’ next top scorer after Antetokounmpo with 19 points, while Eric Bledsoe added 18 for Milwaukee (12-10).
