STEPH Curry got a taste of a Filipino dessert on Friday during the press conference of the Under Armour Asia Tour.
Before the Golden State Warriors star answered questions from the media during the press conference held at the Kerry’s Sports in Taguig, the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player was served with a bowl of halo-halo and took a few spoons of the popular Filipino dessert.
Curry gave the halo-halo that had an ube ice cream on top a thumbs up.
“I have a sweet tooth,” said Curry, in his second visit in the Philippines in his career.
Curry thanked the support of the Filipinos that make their presence felt everywhere from the Bay Area to the Philippines to even on social media.
“I just appreciate the support on social media, in and around the Bay Area, there is so much love and support for me and my family from the fans here in the Philippines. I appreciate that sincerely. That is why I look forward to coming back here. Hopefully, it continues,” said Curry.
