THERE’S no such thing as an offseason among NBA rivals as Stephen Curry took a not-so-veiled shot at LeBron James during the wedding of former Golden State Warrior Harrison Barnes over the weekend.
In a video posted on an Instagram story on Sunday (Monday, Manila time), which was captured on Twitter by Sports Illustrated, Curry was shown making an obvious dig at a workout video posted by James last June shortly after the Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With the same song “First Day Out” by Tee Grizzly playing in the background, Curry was shown imitating the Cavs star’s mean mugging and acting out some exercises. Here's James' video last June and a side-by-side comparison.

But the animosity between Curry and James is no secret. The most intriguing part of the video is the presence of Kyrie Irving, who was seen enjoying and even egging on the Warriors star’s imitation of his Cavs teammate.
It only adds to the drama already surrounding Cleveland’s top stars, following Irving’s trade request that went public last week. It has been reported that Irving wanted to move out of James’ shadow and run his own team, which led to the request.
