    Spurs suffer first home defeat of the season after Harden's big game lifts Rockets

    IN a battle of Texas rivals, James Harden had 31 points, Chandler Parsons finished with 25 as the Houston Rockets held off a second-half rally to  San Antonio 112-106 on Saturday night (Sunday, Manila time).

    Dwight Howard added 13 points and 11 rebounds, Terrence Jones had 10 points and 16 boards, and Patrick Beverly had 11 points for Houston (13-5).

    Tony Parker scored 27 points, Tim Duncan had 20 and Marco Belinelli scored 18 for San Antonio (14-3), which has lost two of three. It was the first home defeat for the Spurs.
