    As Obama, sports heroes fete NBA champs, Dennis Rodman's tweet creates stir as usual

    Cleveland's historic conquest of the NBA Finals over Golden State drew praise from many famous personalities. AP

    SOCIAL media was buzzing soon after the buzzer sounded, declaring the Cleveland Cavaliers the official champions of the 2015-2016 NBA season in a stunning Game 7 victory, 93-89, over the Golden State Warriors on Sunday (Monday, Manila time).

    Famous athletes and personalities heaped praise on the historic comeback by the Cavs to win the title, after being the first team to complete the comeback from a 1-3 deficit to take home the Larry O'Brien trophy.

    Here's a sampling of the greetings for Cavs posted online:

    US President Barack Obama tweeted his greeting, soon after he finished watching the game aboard Air Force One:
