THE Timberwolves made it back-to-back wins, downing the Charlotte Hornets, 109-74, on Friday in Minnesota (Saturday, Manila time).
Shabazz Muhammad scored 17, while Karl-Anthony Towns had 15 points and nine rebounds as the Timberwolves, coming off a win over the Memphis Grizzlies, notched their fifth victory in seven outings.
Four other Timberwolves scored in double-digits, with Zach Lavine coming up with 15 points, Nemanja Bjelica and BrandonRush each adding 14, and Ricky Rubio chipping in with 10.
The Hornets saw their three-game winning streak snapped, with only Marco Belinelli scoring in double figures with 10.
Kemba Walker had nine points on 2 of 8 shooting for Charlotte, which absorbed its fourth loss in seven games.
