SERGE Ibaka had 17 points and eight rebounds as the Toronto Raptors went on a big fourth quarter run to defeat the Detroit Pistons, 87-75, at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Friday (Saturday, Manila time).
The Raptors went on a 27-9 surge in the final period to rally against the home team which missed its final 10 shots.
DeMar DeRozan finished with 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Toronto, which has won for the second time in its last five.
Reggie Jackson scored 20 points for Detroit, which lost its third straight. Andre Drummond had 22 points and 15 rebounds.
Both teams had trouble scoring in the first half. Corey Joseph hit a pair of free throws with 1.1 seconds left in the half to give Toronto a 40-38 advantage.
Detroit had a 66-60 advantage at the start of the fourth quarter which it extended to 72-63 before Toronto went on a 22-2 run to take an 85-74 lead with 1:38 left in the game.
