A deluge of treys kept the San Antonio Spurs undefeated at home and were simply too much for the Cleveland Cavaliers who fell 126-96 Saturday (Sunday, Manila time).
Danny Green had 17 points for the Spurs which had a season-high 16 three-pointers in 24 attempts. Patty Mills scored 15 points, Tony Parker added 12 and Tiago Splitter and Marco Belinelli each had 10 points for San Antonio (12-1), en route to it's best start in franchise history. All 13 players on the Spurs' bench scored at least six points.
In a losing effort, Cleveland was led by Andrew Bynum with 16 points, Kyrie Irving had 15 points, Matthew Dellavedova added 14 points and Dion Waiters 11 for Cleveland (4-10). Top overall adraft pick Anthony Bennett, nine points, his season high.
